Diagonal wave patterns of white resist dots move across a cool silver grey base in the body, building in density toward the pallu where the pattern opens into medallion and floral block compositions on a deep black ground. The shift from light body to dark pallu gives Dhara a natural drama that unfolds as the drape is worn open.
Modal carries this print with ease. The fabric is smooth against skin, holds its shape through a full day, and drapes in clean natural folds without needing constant adjustment. Bandhni is a resist-dyeing tradition from Gujarat and Rajasthan where fabric is tied in thousands of tiny knots before dyeing, each knot leaving a white dot when untied, building pattern through repetition rather than brush or block.
